Customer Page

Common

Router

Top Menu Bar

  • The color of each menu item is colorful and correct.
  • Click any one of the menu item, the background color of each item will change, the font weight of item will be bolder, the height of menu item will become higher than others.
  • Click any one of the menu item, it can direct to the correct page.

RSS icon

  • Click the top right RSS feed button on each page, it can direct to the rss feed of the page.
  • The footer items (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Trademarks) displays in the correct place and can direct to the correct URLs.
  • Choose a language on the bottom right selector, the whole page will be translated into the choosing language, the query parameter of URL (lang={}) will also be changed.
  • Edit the URL and change the query parameter (eg. dev-status.webex.com?lang=zh_CN), the whole page will be translated as the query parameter is.

Commercial & Government Status

Welcome slogan

Open Incidents

  • When there are open incidents and maintenances, they will display under the welcome slogan.
  • Click the blue bar of one incident, it will expand and show the detail information.
  • Click the blue bar of the incident again, it will collapse as it was.
  • Click the Subscribe button on the right, a subscribe modal will jump to the screen.
  • Click "Create Subscription", it will turn out that a confirmation email has been sent to your mailbox.

Component List

  • All components display in two table columns.
  • The two table columns' background color is transparent.
  • Each component show its component icon and rss feed on the right.
  • Each component's rss feed link is "https://dev-status.webex.com/{component_name}.rss"
  • Each component icon's color is determined by its status (operational: green, degraded performance: brown, partial impact: orange red, major impact: red, maintenance: blue)
  • If one component's status is not operational, the row of this component will expand and show its sub-component list automatically.
  • If one component has no icon, it will display the default icon in each status.
  • Click one of the component row, it will expand to show its sub-component list.
  • Click the expanded row again, it will collapse as it was.
  • If one subcomponent's status is major impact and it has status page link, the status will be underlined red and can be clicked to direct to the status page link as configured.

Incident History & Maintenance

Filters

  • Click the filters selector, there will be a two-level choosing list (All Webex Services, Commercial, Government).
  • The filter's default value is All Webex Services, the page will show all incidents/maintenances of all webex services.
  • Hover over the Commercial and Government option, the component options of the two kinds are listed on the right.
  • Click any one of the component option, the incident/maintenance list and calendar will be filtered by the option.
  • The choosing option will have a blue check mark on the right.

90 days calendar

  • This part shows recent three months' calendar.
  • If there are incidents/maintenances on one day, the day will be underlined blue.
  • Click the filter on the top to change components, the day calendar's blue line will be filtered by the filter.
  • Click the blue underlined day link, the page will jump to the position of the incident/maintence's line.

Incident/Maintenance Details

  • If there is no incident or maintenance, it will show no incident/maintenance reported.
  • If there are incidents or maitenances, it will show a table list of all the incidents/maintenances.
  • The table header has blue background and white font color, while the table body has white background and black font color by default.
  • Incident page's table list shows Reference #, Occur Date, Location, Sector, Webex Service, Description on the table header.
  • Maintenance page's table list shows Change #, Date Posted, Location, Sector, Webex Service, Description on the table header.
  • Click one of the rows in the table, the expanded row's background color will turn green, the detail information of the incident/maintenance will be shown in the expanding card.
  • Resolved/Completed incident/maintenance will have no subscribe button on the top right, but unresolved/upcoming one will have a subscribe button.
  • Click the button, it will show a subscribe modal and the process is all the same with that in open incidents.
  • Maintenance page has two tables: Upcoming Maintenance Details and Completed Maintenance Details

Updates/Upgrades

  • The top has no filters for components.
  • The top part has also a three-month calendar, days with announcements will be underlined blue and can direct to the position of the line of the announcement.
  • Details under the three-month calendar will show announcement since last month.
  • Click the left arrow, the details will show announcements of the previous month.
  • Click the right arrow, the details willl show announcements of the next month.

Calendar

  • The calendar page has a big calendar of one month, the default month is current month.
  • Click the left arrow, the details will show maintenances of the previous month.
  • Click the right arrow, the details willl show maintenances of the next month.
  • Select type or select cluster on the top right selector and click search, the searching results will be shown on the calendar.
  • The type and cluster selectors are both multiple-choice selectors.
  • Click one of the seven types in colorful squares on the top of calendar, the results will be filtered by the clicked type.
  • Click the top right option to switch from calendar mode and list mode, the transition runs smoothly.
  • In each grid of calendar, it shows maintenances of each day. More than three maintenances will be shown as "+n more"
  • Click one scheduled maintenance in one grid, it will jump to the detail page of this maintenance in list mode.
  • The left list of detail page is scrollable, and shows the schedule date of the maintenances
  • The detail page contains title, UTC schedule, Local Time Schedule, Components, Locations, Descriptions.
  • Click the download icon on the top right of detail page, the browser will download ICS file of this maintenance, which can be imported into Outlook.

Help

  • The information block except product info all change with selecting language.
  • Product Info shows all components with a help link, which is configured in admin page.
  • Government components with help links will have the prefix "Government_"
  • Click one component in product info, it will jump to the help link.

Admin Page

Common

Read-Only and Token

  • Entering admin page needs user to login.
  • Read-only users cannot click "add", "edit", "delete", "export" button.
  • Read-write users can click these buttons above.
  • Session checker checks token expiring time every minute. If token is expired, it will remind you to refresh token.
  • The session checker toast occurs on the bottom right. Click close button or click "ok" will close the toast.

Top Menu

  • Click the top menu item to switch from this tab to another tab.
  • Click the top right clear cache button, it will show a confirming modal to ask you whether to clear cache.
  • Click confirm in the modal it will send a http request to clear cache in the server side.
  • Click the top right metrics button, it will open a new tab and direct to metrics page.
  • The top right block contains the login user's email and username.
  • Click the email and username, it will show a option to sign out. Click "sign out", the page will directs to logout html page.

Services

  • Click "Add Service" button on the top right, "Add Service" modal will be shown.
  • The modal contains fields Service Name and Service Description.
  • Only when the first field "Service Name" are filled, the "Add" button will be enabled to click. Service Description field is optional.
  • Fill in the two fields, click "Add" to add a new service. Once added, the bottom right will show a info toast informing you that a new service is created.
  • Click the "Edit" buttton on one service line, "Edit Service" modal will be shown.
  • Fill in the fields. If service name is edited to blank, the "Edit" button will be disabeld.
  • Edit fileds as required, click "Edit" button to edit this service. Once edited, the bottom right will show a info toast informing you that this service is edited.
  • The service list is refreshed immediately, as well as the top selector of service.
  • Choose the service in the service list on the top selector, when the selected service is changed, the page content under the selector will be changed together.
  • Click the "Delete" buttton on service item line, "Delete Service" modal will be shown.
  • It is requried to input "DELETE" in the box, then you can click "Delete" button. Once deleted, the bottom right will show a info toast to inform you.

Commercial & Government Components

Component Group Modal

  • Click "Add Component Group" button on the top right, "Add Component" modal will be shown.
  • The modal contains fields Component Name, StatusPage Link, Help Link, Product Group, Component Description.
  • The Component Name field is required to input, other fileds are optional.
  • Click "Add" to add a new component group. The bottom right toast will occurr to inform you.
  • Fill in the fields. Component Name is required to input, Description is optional, then click "Add" button to add sub-component. The bottom right toast will occurr to inform you.
  • Click the "Edit" buttton on one component line, "Edit Component" modal will be shown.
  • The fields are the same with "Add Component", fill these fields and "Edit" button can be clicked. Once edited, a toast will occurr to inform you.
  • Click the "Delete" buttton on service item line, "Delete Component Group" modal will be shown.
  • It is requried to input "DELETE" in the box, then you can click "Delete" button. Once deleted, a toast will occurr to inform you.

Upload Icon

  • Click "Upload Icon" on one component line, "Upload Icon" modal will be shown.
  • Drag a svg file or click to select a file on your computer, the new component icon will be set.
  • Click the "Reset" button and click "yes", the uploaded component icon will be deleted and icon will be set to default.
  • Wait one or two minutes and go to status page, the component icon should be set to the latest one.
  • Click "Add Component" on one component line, "Add Component" modal will be shown.

Component List

  • Drag one line can reorder the components. Once reordered, a toast will occurr to inform you.
  • Click plus icon on left of component name on the component line, the sub-components of this component group will be shown. The plus icon will change to minus icon.
  • The sub-components can also be reordered by dragging the lines. Once reordered, a toast will occurr to inform you.
  • Sub-components can also be edited and deleted by clicking on the right buttons. The modals are similar with "Add Component".
  • Click minus icon again, the sub-components will be collapsed and return to component group's list.
  • The functions above are the same in both Commercial Components tab and Government Components tab.

Incidents & Maintenance

Export CSV

  • Click "Export" button on the top right. The browser will download CSV file of incidents/maintenances in the last 90 days. The CSV file contains incidents/maintenances information.

Incident & Maintenance Add Modal

  • Click "Add Incident/Scheduled Maintenance" button on the top right, "Add Incident/Scheduled Maintenance" modal will be shown.
  • The modal contains fields Incident/Maintenance Name, SNOW Publication Number, Locations, Incident/Change Number, Impact, Incident Type, Component, Incident Status, Message, Component Statuses (Commercial & Government)
  • The required fields contain Incident/Maintenance Name, Locations, Incident/Change Number, Incident Type, Incident Status, Message. All the required fields should be input, otherwise users cannot click the "Add" button.
  • Component Statuses can be chosen in options of "Operational", "Degraded Performance", "Partial Impact", "Major Impact", "Under Maintenance".
  • Click the switch "Use Derived Status", the status selector of component group will be disabed, you should click plus icon on the left and choose status for the sub-components.
  • Click "Add" button to add a new incident/maintenance, a toast will occurr to inform you.

Incident & Maintenance Edit & Delete Modal

  • An unresolved incident line has two buttons (Edit, Delete). A resolved incident line has three buttons (Reopen, View, Delete).
  • An upcoming maintenance line has two buttons (Edit, Delete). A completed maintenance line has two buttons (View, Delete).
  • Click "Edit" in an unresolved incident/upcoming maintenance line. The modal contains Incident/Maintenance Status, Message and Component Statuses. Fill all the required fields and "Edit" can be clicked.
  • Click "Edit" on the top right of "Edit Incident/Scheduled Maintenance" modal, it will show a card where you can edit the meta data of this incident/maintenance. Click "Save" to save this edit data and a toast will occurr to inform you.
  • "Previous Updates" are placed on the bottom of Component Statuses, each card shows a previous message.
  • Click "Show Affected Components", the affected components will show under the button.
  • Click "Edit" on the previous update card, the message can be edited.
  • Click "Delete" and click "yes", the message can be deleted.
  • Click "Reopen" in a resolved incident, it will show the Edit modal again and you need to add new message to the incident and make it reopen.
  • Click "View" is the same in incidents and maintenance. It can't add new message, but can see previous updates and edit meta data of this incident/maintenance.
  • Click "Delete" is the same in incidents and maintenance. It will show a Delete modal, input "DELETE" and you can delete this incident/maintenance. A toast will occurr to inform you.

Updates/Upgrades

  • Click "Add Announcement" button on the top right, "Add Announcement" modal will be shown.
  • Modal contains fields Title, End Month, Description. All of them should be input, otherwise the "Add" button will be disabled. Once added, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Announcement list will show announcement cards since last month.
  • Click the left arrow, the list will show announcements of the previous month.
  • Click the right arrow, the list willl show announcements of the next month.
  • Click "Copy" on one announcement card, a "Copy" modal with copied information of this announcement will occurr. Click "Copy" button to copy this annoucement. Once copied, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Click "Edit" on one announcement card to open a "Edit Announcement" modal. Make sure the required fields are filled and the "Edit" button can be clicked. Once edited, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Click the "Delete" buttton on one annoucement card to open "Delete Service" modal. It is needed to input "DELETE" to delete the announcement. Once deleted, a toast will occurr to inform.

Calendar

  • Click the left arrow, the list will show maintenances of the previous month.
  • Click the right arrow, the list willl show maintenances of the next month.
  • Select type or select cluster on the top selector and click "Search", the searching results will be shown on the calendar.
  • The type and cluster selectors are both multiple-choice selectors.

Advanced Modal

  • Click "Advanced" to open "Manage DCs and Clusters" modal to manage DCs and clusters.
  • Drag DataCenters card to reorder the DCs. Once reordered, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Drag cluster card in DataCenters card to reorder clusters. Once reordered, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Click edit icon on the top right of each DC card, DC name will change into a input box. Click check icon to edit the DC name.
  • Click close icon on the top right of each DC card, choose yes when it ask you are sure to delete, then the DC will be deleted.
  • Click edit icon on the top right of each cluster card, cluster name will change into a input box. Click check icon to edit the cluster name.
  • Click close icon on the top right of each cluster card, choose yes when it ask you are sure to delete, then the cluster will be deleted.
  • Click "New DataCenter" to add a new DC, input DC name and click confirm, a new DC will be created.
  • Click "New Cluster" in a DC to add a new cluster, input cluster name and click check icon, a new cluster in this DC will be created.

Mainteance Modal

  • Click "Add Maintenance" button on the top right to open "Add Maintenance Modal".
  • The modal contains fields: Maintenance Name, Type, Clusters, Start Time, End Time, Local Time Schedule, Components, Locations, Descriptions. All the fields except Clusters and Local Time Schedule are required to input to click "Add" button.
  • Make sure the required fields are filled, click the "Add" button to add a new maintenance. Once added, a toast will occurr to inform.

Maintenance List

  • Click "Copy" on one maintenance card, a "Copy" modal with copied information of this announcement will occurr. Click "Copy" button to copy this annoucement. Once copied, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Click "Edit" on one maintenance card to open a "Edit Maintenance" modal. Make sure the required fields are filled and the "Edit" button can be clicked. Once edited, a toast will occurr to inform.
  • Click the "Delete" buttton on one maintenance card to open "Delete Maintenance" modal. It is needed to input "DELETE" to delete the maintenance. Once deleted, a toast will occurr to inform.
