About Us

The Monitoring & Alerting team is responsible for ensuring Webex Meetings and Messengers running smoothly and efficiently. This team is primarily tasked with monitoring various Webex components, regions, and infrastructure to detect and resolve issues before they become critical.

Monitoring involves tracking metrics and gathering data on the performance and behavior of various systems and applications. The Monitoring & Alerting team uses a variety of tools to monitor these checks, including dashboards, graphs, and other visualization tools. These tools help the team identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data, which can be used to pinpoint potential issues or areas for improvement.

In addition to monitoring, the team is also responsible for building up application for Service Owners to set up alerts. Alerts are notifications that are triggered when specific metrics or conditions meet certain thresholds. These alerts help the team quickly identify and resolve issues before they become critical.
