HEA status summary for project on-hold (2023-02-09)

Overview ¶

Because of some unexpected changes on both people and project, we decide to put project HEA to on-hold status. Below are the summary of current status.

What we have done ¶

1. Code Rules
   1. API rules
   2. Database rules
   3. Document rules
   4. Frontend rules
   5. Process rules
   6. Part of Java rules
2. Rules Implementation
   1. Generate Frontend and Java code quality reports in Jenkins
   2. Link HEA Checkstyle rules with local IDE statically.

What's in progress ¶

1. Finalize Java Checkstyle rules
2. Go through document How to fix cloud agent on next monthly demo
3. Drive MCT / UAS team to write document on GitHub with reference from HEA guide

What can still be done after turning HEA to on-hold status ¶

1. Host the knowledge sharing of Monitoring & Alerting Team
2. Maintain room Ask HEA

What would be suspended (TODO list) ¶

1. More code rules like Python...
2. Apply a dedicate server for HEA which could host wiki site, cache static resources...
3. Send out Jenkins code quality reports (smartly by Bot)
4. Link HEA Checkstyle rules with local IDE dynamically (remote HTTP)
5. Add HEA code merge check
6. Daily tip
7. HEA session on monthly demo
8. Weekly meeting
