  • Scheduling meetings directly from the Webex App provides a seamless and integrated experience for users. Within the app, users can effortlessly schedule meetings, invite participants, and set meeting preferences such as time, date, and recurrence.
  • Scheduling meetings via a web browser offers flexibility and convenience, allowing users to access Webex's scheduling features from any device with internet connectivity. This method is particularly beneficial for users who may not have the Webex App installed or are working from a shared or public computer.
  • Integrating Webex with Office Outlook provides a powerful scheduling capability for users who rely on Outlook for their email and calendar management. With the Webex plugin for Outlook, users can schedule Webex meetings directly from their Outlook interface, leveraging their existing calendar and contact information.

Solution

To ensure the robustness and reliability of the Schedule Meeting feature, we leverage the MCT TAP (Test Againt Production) solution. This involves running a Docker image with end-to-end (E2E) Schedule Meeting use cases, simulating real user interactions to validate the functionality comprehensively. The results of these synthetic tests are then exposed in the MCT console and integrated with the LMA (Logs, Metrics, and Alerts) system.
