The following are key features we plan to implement in the "Internal Service Status" project over the next few quarters:

FY2024 Q3

Features

  • Integrate with MCT as source for Synthetic data
  • Support Monitoring Tools： Grafana, Thousandeyes

  • Structured Repository Management:

    Create and maintain repositories within Git that reflect a meticulously defined hierarchy for each domain, system, and component.

  • Core Feature Visualization:

    Implement a dedicated section on the dashboard titled "Core Feature" that serves as the primary point of reference for assessing the health status of each component's core features

  • Comprehensive Alert Aggregation

    Develop an alert aggregation mechanism capable of collecting and processing notifications from Kibana and ThousandEyes

Content

  • Platform - Monitoring as a Service - MCT
  • Polling service: ensures monitoring tasks are well assigned, performed and result received
  • Page services: ensures the front-end page of MCT is well loaded
  • API services: ensures essential backend functionality and data exchange
