Empty CDP CHG ticket Process

NOTICE: You must MANUALLY CLOSE THE EMPTY CDP CHG TICKET within the change window.

Overview

An empty CDP CHG ticket means that this ticket will not trigger the CDP deploy pipeline. You can use it when you don't need CDP deployment, for example, kubed Argo deployment or special manual changes.

CDP basic operation

Create CDP release for DevOps (empty ticket version)

Choose the Others item as Implementation Type as the below screenshoot shown, CDP change and ticket can be opened, but CDP pipeline will not take effect (e.g. skip and complete in CDP pipeline)

MCT item is for APP release; MCT DB item is for DB release. For example: Release name as MCT DB will be DB release.

Create CDP DevOps ticket (base above release)

Choose the release version with the Others implementation type. For other form items, just fill in the appropriate parameters as you would for a normal CDP DevOps ticket.

Close ticket

Close ticket on service now (click implement, then click close)
