Getting Splunk Access
Prerequisites
- Cisco employee/authorized account with access to MyID Groups.
- Business need to search WxCDI operational data.
- Agreement to follow customer-data handling requirements.
Request Process
- Open MyID Groups.
- Search for
wxcdi-splunk-allor open the group details. - Request membership and wait for approval/provisioning.
- Sign in to the appropriate regional Splunk Cloud instance.
- Run a narrow search against an authorized index to confirm access.
Roles & Permissions
Access is group and role based. Most operators need search access; alert, index, and platform administration require additional owner approval. Request only the access needed for your responsibilities.

Confirm UAE routing with the platform owner.
Troubleshooting
Capture group membership state, instance URL, UTC failure time, and the exact error. Do not share SSO tokens, cookies, or raw customer events in a support request.
